For those who are still in love with the charicatured antics of Valve’s Team Fortress 2, this is gonna come as a bit of kick in the crotch. It has been revealed today that neither Valve or EA have plans to release downloadable content or class updates for the PS3 version of the popular shooter.
The updates to the heavy, pyro and medic, as well as the new maps, are already available on the PC and have been announced for the Xbox 360, but ther are no plans to release them to PS3 owners. Although Gabe Newell want’s Valve to support the PS3 in the future he obviously didn’t mean this near a future.

Rumor has it that Sony’s prepaid PSN cards might be coming to North American retailer Best Buy. You might think that as someone in Europe I frankly wouldn’t give a toss. Well I do. I have been waiting PSN cards to hit the mass market in North America for a while as I, like many importers, need a better way to get my Rock Band tracks.
If this is true, it’ll be sweet. I’m off to New York in January so i’ll be on the lookout for some of these babies if they do show up at Best Buy. If not i’ll find a Blockbuster or something.
