Neocrisis have noticed some inacuracies with IGN’s review of Fallout 3. There have apparently been two versions of said review, the original one and an edited version. This wouldn’t be too significant if the section delated wasn’t so damn important. Hit the jump for the two pieces. Continue reading

When speaking to 1Up, Media Molecule’s Alex Evans sort of confirmed that user created levels from the beta are to stay for the full game. I was just about to post about a poll that MM were running, allowing users to vote on weather the levels from the beta should be kept for the final game.

At the time of writing the community are massively in favor of the levels staying. Looks like MM made the right choice then. This obviously is great news for all of those guys who made sick levels, you can rest knowing you don’t have to remake your masterpieces again.

In other news, IGN’s Chris Roper told fans on Podcast Beyond this week he’d be making the ultimate trophy whores level. Roper said that the level could potentially get you 8 trophies in 30 seconds. Nice.

A few days ago I vowed to provide the blog with more thean rehashed content and told you, the good people of the internet, that I would provide original content for the readers of XeNonX. That quest is still ongoing but I can give you an update.

Earlier this week I contacted the associate editor of the IGN PlayStation team, Mr. Ryan Clements. After a few emails and PSN messages later Ryan has, due to work commitments, had to decline my request. Hit the jump to see what he had to say.

IGN have released a list of every song on the Rock Band 2 game disc and rated them by their difficulty for each instrument (Vocals, Bass, Guitar & Drums). This is nice to see and lets gamers have a look at the challenges that face them come September/October. I would post the lists here myself but WordPress is being a bit crap and is making it hard to post them so just click here for the lists instead.

IGN are giving their readers a chance to vote for the boxart which will appear on the ‘Collectors Edition’ of Resistance 2.There seems to be a clear favourite (the one above) and the other two seem a bit like crappy mock ups. Not only that but there seems to be some new info topping the boxart ‘Only On PlayStation’ and ‘PlayStation Network’. I’d definitely like to see this on more games in the near future. Hit the jump to see what Ted Price had to say and more.

IGN: BioShock Looking Better On PS3 by Anthony Barlow

Sweet. News comes from the interwebs (IGN inparticular) that the PS3 version of BioShock looks better. IGN have said that the ‘port’ of the popular 360 game has “cleaner high resolution textures for every facet of the game”. Sounds nice. I’m really looking forward to getting this game as i’ve never played it. The new PS3 trailer makes it seem like an FPS, Survival Horror mash up. Am I right?

Anyway i’ve got mine pre-ordered and can’t wait to play it. Plus it’s got trophies, cool.

You can see the new trailer here along with a preview from IGN’s Jeff Haynes.
