FIFA 09 Winter Update, Out Now

UPDATE: The update is now out, to get it go to Adidas Live Season and download the latest update. If it comes back saying you have the latest update go to league selection and click on the league of your choice. I chose the Premier League so I clicked on that and downloaded the latest update from there.

EA’s David Rutter has confirmed that the FIFA 09 Winter Update will be delayed due to a small bug. They are hopeful that it will be released either today or tomorrow.

I’m particularly looking foward to it as my beloved United will hopefully have had their stats changed to a more realistic level, Danny Welbeck a 64 for gods sake and Berba deserves more than an 86. Also Edwin’s rating has gone down drastically on the inaccurate Adidas Live Update, this after keeping 13 consecutive Premier League clean sheets.

It will also update the transfers that took place during the January transfer window. Tosic to Utd, Keane back at Spurs, Becks to Milan etc. Full quote from the FIFA forum after the jump. Continue reading

Capcom have today confirmed that Dead Rising 2 is on it’s way and will be set years after the original in a place called Las Vegas Fortune City. It is being developed in partnership with Canadian developer Blue Castle Games.

It will be coming to the PS3, PC and 360 and if they have fixed the save system it will be a sure fire hit across all 3 platforms. The first game is probably the best game I played on the 360 and I will definitely be buying this for my PS3.

Full press release after the jump.

In a follow up to Anthonys earlier post it has been confirmed that Outrun Online Arcade won’t becoming to the US PSN Store. Sega have revealed that the title is an XBLA exclusive in the States but it will still be available in other regions on both PSN and XBLA.

OutRun Online Arcade is a downloadable version of OutRun 2 and Coast To Coast with added online play and is due out in March.

Sorry this is a bit late in being reported here, we must of missed it last week.

Noby Noby Boy to get February 19th Release

The new game from Katamari Damarcy creator Keita Takahashi is set for a worldwide February 19th release. The premise is to eat/swallow items with your Snake like character called Boy. The more you eat the longer and stretchier he becomes, you then submit your points to The King Of All Cosmos a character called Girl who uses them to stretch out into space unlocking areas as she goes.

It doesn’t seem to be too dissimilar to Katamari Damarcy and that is no bad thing. Instead of rolling over things to become bigger you just eat them to become longer. As a big fan of Katamari Damarcy I am eagerly anticipating this game and hope that it becomes a big hit with those people that dare to give it a try. As it probably won’t appeal to all people I hope they release a demo that showcases how addictive things like this can be.
