I sorta neglected my writing responsibilities yesterday and forgot to post the updates, they’re here now at least. Starting with Europe. After a long wait those of us in European territories get to play Supersonic Areobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars. This week also sees the return of LittleBigPlanet DLC, some more (useless) DLC for Skate 2 and the PS3 exclusive Mirrors Edge time trial map, as well as the usual updates for Rock Band & Guitar Hero: WT. Hit the jump for a full list of content.

  • Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars full game – £7.99
  • Mirror’s Edge PS3 Exclusive map – Free!
  • Skate 2 “Filmer” pack – £4.79
  • Lord of the Rings: Conquest “Hero Arena” bonus pack – Free!
  • LittleBigPlanet DLC – Kratos & Ape Escape Costumes – £1.59 (each), Groundhog Day Costume – Free!, God Of War Level Kit – £2.39
  • Rock Band 2 DLC – Grateful Dead Pack 02 – £4.99
  • Guitar Hero World Tour DLC – Bruce Springstein Track Pack – Free! (Limited time only)

Not a bad update. I recomend that people get that Springstein pack whilst it’s free because, well, you never know. I’m surprised that MM have made the Ape Escape costume for LBP paid-for DLC (it was free in Japan). I think EA are trying to milk Skate 2 DLC a little too much, I mean who needs add-on’s for the video editor? The Mirrors Edge DLC is cool to have although I can’t say the same for EA’s other title on the list LOTR: Conquest – that game should’ve been worked on a hell of a lot more. It’s a shame really.

Pick Of The Week:

Ok then, we’ve not got a lot to choose from here really. PSN POTW for this week, I think, has to be the Mirrors Edge DLC. It makes getting those last few stars in time trial mode a little easier. If you’ve not got Mirrors Edge, I recomend going onto the North American store to download the demo for Supersonic… and see if you like it…it’s not exactly for everyone. Fun though.

Right then check the post above for the North American update 🙂
