Calling all knitters!… eh? Yes the gaming and knitting community has finally collided, yes folks that is a Sackboy. British based magazine Simply Knitting (issue 49) includes a knitting pattern (made by Alan Dart for those who’re interested) for everyone’s favourite sack-based game character, and it looks nicer than those from Play-Asia.

It looks like those who want their Sackboy plushie might have to make it themselves, either that or have a granny at hand. The pattern will also be printed in other magazines, more appropriate for the gaming community. I’m thinking he could look a little darker, but that’s just me.

That is so not true! How behind the times can you get. Online is a festering world of young knitters and crocheters turning out Sackboys, Totoros, vaginas and vibrator covers. Grannies are not required. Knitting gamers are ten a penny.
