2K have announced that they will be adding the ‘living rosters’ feature to the latest itteration of their basketball franchise, NBA 2K9. This feature will alow players to download rosters (or squads) from the internet to match that of the teams in real life. Hit the jump for more.

This feature does not just add roster updates but also updates the ratings and behaviours of players as the NBA season progresses. Of course this is nothing new with EA frequently updating their squad lists in games like FIFA and more recently introducing the ‘Addidas Live Season’ which pretty much does the same job.

Hopefully this’ll turn out well and add an intteresting dynamic to the game. I should be picking the game up at some point and this in makes the game all the more sweet.

Was gonna say this sounds like “Addidas Live Season”. I don’t think I will pay for the other leagues but will be quite happy with having just the EPL.
