North American FIFA Cover Change? – The Update by Anthony Barlow

Yesterday I posted about how EA might have another cover change on their hands if Maurice Edu’s transfer to Glasgow Rangers goes ahead. Well it looks like it might happen, well the transfer anyway.

BBC Sport (via various sources) have today made claims that Edu (along with Fulham’s Steven Davis) could make the switch to Ibrox.

Rangers are set to complete the signings of Fulham’s Steven Davis and American international Maurice Edu. (Various)

Looks like EA have definitely got another cover crisis on their hands. I’m wondering if they’ll even bother replacing the cover because of the small number of people who buy the game. Nontheless it’s only right to do so.

I still haven’t been able to contact EA for a comment on this yet, but I will carry on trying.

FIFA has a pretty strong following in the US. Not as strong as Madden or NCAA Football, but it still sells well.
