[By Ryan] When you first boot up Bejewled 2, your going to be greeted by an easy to use yet mediocre menu. Your going to notice similarities in pretty much everything from previous games. That of course holds true in the gameplay. If you’ve played Bejeweled, theres no learning curve. It’s the same game. If you haven’t, the game is quite simple. Just get 3 shapes in a row or column (at least) and they will break and give you points. The DualShock3 actually works pretty well with the game. Hold X and then point in the direction of the shape you want to switch the selected shape with. It’s that simple. This system has worked for a while, and it still does. It’s a fun addictive game, but its nothing new at all.

Where have I played this game before...
Graphically, the game looks as good as it really can for such a simple game. Everything runs smoothly, it looks crisp in HD, but thats about it. Again, you can’t do much with a game thats been remade so many times.
So does the game do enough new to make it worth downloading? The answer is Yes and No. Here’s the thing, we’ve played this game so many times that it’s almost useless to keep releasing it. On the other hand, if you don’t own the game or you like it enough to drop another 10 USD on it, then get it. If not, don’t bother. It’s not a reinvention of the classic Bejeweled or anything, but it definitely works, it’s still addictive, and is a great way to kill time.
Out of 10, I’d give it a 6.5/10
