A recent post on Media Molecule’s Flikr page seems to have revealed what the company expect to add to the game in the coming weeks and months. The picture above shows some kind of board which contains details of upcoming expansions to LittleBigPlanet. Those mentioned include the ‘Arcade Pack’ and something named ‘2000 BC’ both of which have TBC next to them. Other things mentioned are ‘legal’ (photo importing perhaps) and a patch which is said to bring “new creative capabilities”. Hopefully this wasn’t just a tease from MM. God how we love you and the ever expanding LittleBigPlanet.

The word on the street is (who am I Huggy Bear?) that Tekken 6 will have exclusive downloadable content on the PS3. With the Xbox 360 getting a hold of Sony’s, once exclusive, fighting game franchise it seems only right that Namco Bandai reward more ‘loyal’ fans. Who knows if this is true, although knowing the allegience the devs have to Sony it dosen’t seem too unlikely. Hopefully we’ll here more about this soon.

More RE 5 news now and it has been revealed that the game, like many others, requires a massive install on the PlayStation 3. It comes as bad news for owners of the smaller HDD systems as the install weighs in at around 5 gigabytes. Not good. As far as I know the install is mandatory, hopefully it’ll pay off on the performance front.

More demo news here and now it’s Capcom’s turn to shine. The demo for Resident Evil 5 has now hit the PlayStation Store and is available to download. The demo contains two stages, both of which can be played in online and offline co-op. Nice. It weighs in at 942mb so you’ll need a fair bit of space to download it. Go download it anyway, it should be worth it. Impressions may follow.

SCEE have confirmed that the demo for Guerilla Games’, highly anticipated, shooter Killzone 2 will be hitting the European PlayStation Store this upcoming Thursday, February 5th. The demo is said to include two sections of the game’s first level, ‘Corinth River’ as well as the Tutorial from the retail build of the game. I believe the original date for this demo was the 26th so it makes sense for Sony to give people a look at the game a little earlier than a day before the game releases. Nice one SCEE, no word on a full release of the demo for North America yet. Hopefully we’ll hear something soon.
