As promised the WarHawk 1.50 update hit today and it brings some pretty cool, free stuff. The biggest inclusion is obviously the trophy support. Incognito’s steampunk shooter now includes 57 trophies for players to grab in various ways, ranging from the easy training completion trophies to the much harder task of shooting down dropships with laser designators. Either way it’s still cool and trophies might just make me want to play it again, if not my dad plays it a ton so that should help. Hit the jump for more.

IGN have released a list of every song on the Rock Band 2 game disc and rated them by their difficulty for each instrument (Vocals, Bass, Guitar & Drums). This is nice to see and lets gamers have a look at the challenges that face them come September/October. I would post the lists here myself but WordPress is being a bit crap and is making it hard to post them so just click here for the lists instead.

Remember that PSN title that was leaked a few weeks back, ‘Savage Moon’. Well it was shown off at Leipzig and now the official PlayStation blog has some more details on it. The game is a tower defence type game but set in “a gritty sci-fi” location.
It sounds very much like a sci-fi ‘Pixel Junk Monsters’ and it’s likely to play very much like PJM with a different look to it. Surprisingly, i’m intrigued by the game probably because I loved Monsters so much.
The game is set to hit in the autumn alongside Fat Princess, Flower and Crash Commando. It seems like it’ll be a good year for both downloadable and retail games then.
You can see more screens over at PS3 Fanboy.

Guillermo Del Toro, the acclaimed director of Pans Labyrinth and the Hellboy movies, is a fan of team ICO’s. In an interview with Edge magazine Del Toro said that “There are only two games I consider masterpieces: Ico and Shadow of the Colossus,”.
With a director of his calibre giving a massive thubs up to videogames, does this mean that hollywood might start considering making good movies from game franchises now? I don’t think so. What I do think, is after seeing what Del Toro did with Pans Labyrinth, he’d make a damn good director on adaptiations of both of the Team ICO games.
I’m saying watch this space for two fantastic videogame movies. Thanks to PS3 Fanboy for the image topping this post.
