PS3 Fanboy have aquired a picture of Wipeout HD’s trophy screen and guess what, it’s got a platinum! Unlike other PSN titles Wipeout will have a Platinum trophy available for all you completists. PSN titles do not have platinum trophies because, well I don’t know. Full priced titles do have platinum trophies so I think we can expect that Wipeout will be the same price as WarHawk (about £20) and maybe, just maybe it’ll turn up on blu-ray too.

Another PS3/Play.com pre-order bonus has been confirmed today. Play have bagged the exclusive Nariko Sackgirl to bribe gamers with. This is hopefully the first of many pre-order bonuses available from various places. It could be that Play have all of the bonuses but only Nariko has been spotted yet.
Play have said that they’ll be sending out instructions on how to download Nariko, so it’s very unlikely that you’ll be playing as this heavenly character (terrible pun I know) on launch day. PS3 Fanboy seem to be hinting that the Kratos sackboy will be available from GAME, it’s just a rumor for now though. Although it wouldn’t surprise me.

It was rumored earlier today that Media Molecule’s LittleBigPlanet would be region locked. It was thought that the content users can create in the game would be locked to their region. This definitely sounded crappy, well more than crappy but you catch my drift. So obviously people we’re pretty pissed, thank god this info was FALSE. Whoot!
It was confirmed today by an SCEE rep on the European PlayStation forums that the game will have one region “a LittleBigRegion”. Hit the jump for more quoteage.

Next month Sony’s premium ’service’ Quore will allow both subscribers and individual purchasers access to the MotorStorm: Pacific Rift demo a month early. This is great news for Quore users and Motorstorm fans. I’m just wondering how many of the Quore haters are fans of Sony’s racing series and how many will drop $3 on next months episode.
The ammount of stuff that’s being seperated between Quore users and normal consumers seems really stupid and very Xbox Live but hey it’s not like it’s weekly and the ammount of stuff exclusive isn’t too significant, well not always.

The people keep asking and Sony keep telling them, nope there’ll be NO PS3 price cuts in 2008. Surely they’re busy enough making the thing cheaper to pass the savings on to the consumer. David Reeves, president of SCEE is the latest in a long line of people to say that there won’t be a price cut on Sony’s system for the forseeable future.
I was expecting a cut by Christmas but oh well, I guess not.

Once again I have pit up the store update late so it’s the two regions together again. This week was actually a really good week this week for both sides of the atlantic with some great playable stuff to download. The centerpiece of the update obviously being Ratchet & Clank’s downloadable mini-adventure ‘Quest For Booty’. Hit the jump for the lists.
