I really do like Basketball I think it’s appeal (to me at least) is that, like football, it’s fast-paced and there’s tons of skill involved. Of course it’s only right that I pcik me up a basketball game then. For years i’ve been playing 2K Sports NBA 2K series which is great but after looking at some of the new screens for Sony’s basketball game it could have some competition.
Accross the pond Sony’s baseball game ‘MLB 08: The Show’ really showed what the studio could do with a sports title. Their basketball title was crap last time out, so hopefully with the MLB team behind it it can do well. Today Sony announced the full list of the trophies we’re gonna see in NBA 09: The Inside. The list is after the jump.

We know that the U.S. is getting LBP pre-order bonuses, we even know what they are. I know what you’re thinking, “what are we Europeans getting?”. Well word has come in that our LBP pre-order bonuses will be “announced shortly”. Could this be one of Sony’s twelve announcements at Leipzig? Personally, I do think it will be announced at the show but I don’t think it’s going to be one of Sony’s big twelve.
We’ll have to wait and see won’t we. Sony’s conference is tomorrow at 4pm (GMT). I hope someone can get any of the info that might turn up and put it up here, because i’m off to see N*E*R*D, whoot!

I’ve never really liked the look of the ‘Lego: Whatever’ games but this one intrigues me, probably because it’s Batman and I’m on a bit of a bat-kick right now. Today it was revealed that Batgril would be joining the cast of characters in the new Lego: Batman game. Hit the jump for more. (more…)

2K Games today confirmed Bioshock will hit store shelves on the October 21st in the States and on the 24th for everyone else. Shipping with trophy support and exclusive PS3 downloadable content, now there’s something we don’t hear very often.
