I meant to put this in the t-shirt post from before but i’d like to extend a thankyou to the guys over at Black Dragon Printing for making the 1st official XeNonX t-shirt. I was really late getting this sorted and they were kind enough to stay late and get it sorted for me.
Hey, i’ll give them a bit of a plug. Go to Black Dragon Printing on Warrington Market for all your shirt printing needs. You saw what a good job they did on mine.

I will finally be at M Festival tomorrow and will get my hands on with some of the biggest games coming out over the next couple of months (most of them from EA). I know that i’ll be getting my hands on with all of the EA console titles and obviously there might be a few surprises.
Ubisoft and Codemasters have also had (or are having) presentations at the event so I suspect I might get some time with some of their big titles too.
Not only that I am going to deliver on my promise of getting an interview with the guys behind the FIFA games.
It should be a good day tomorrow and hopefully this won’t be XeNonX’s first forray into gaming events. I will try and keeep you posted throughout the day with impressions and such but if I can’t there’ll be one big update towards the end of the day.
It was to be expected really that the game would feature various locales based on the area of release and now that’s been confirmed. It has now been revealed that the U.S. version of the game will start in Los Angeles and also that the UK version will begin in London. I can see that the devs have chosen some of the big cities in both countries but I hope that more of the major cities will be included i.e. Manchester and New York City.
The Last Guy, a cross between ‘Snake’ and ‘Dead Rising’, puts you in the shoes of a monster trying to save the people of various cities around the world. This game looks really cool and could be another one of those quirky titles that seem to do so well on the PSN. The game is out in Japan and will hopefully make it’s way to the western territories soon.
There’s a video interview with the guys above. It’s hillarious, you’ve gotta watch it! Said video is also available on the U.S. PS Store this week too.

Front
Just in time for the M Festival on Monday the first official XeNonX t-shirt has arrived (well I went to pick it up, but whatever). This t-shirt will hopefully help me advertise the blog whilst at the show and also set me apart from the rest of the randoms there.

Back
The t-shirt looks nice dosen’t it. I’ve pretty much got everything sorted for Monday and this t-shirt is the icing on the proverbial cake. I’ve got a white shirt waiting to go to the printers after the show (sporting black logos o’course) hopefully they can be used for more events.
What do you guys think?

Media Molecule seem to be trying to advertise LittleBigPlanet to the mainstream rather than just the hardcore gamer. A new trailer has appeared on Amazon showing some of the cool features of the game and hopefully this will get non-gamers (Read: Wii owners) to buy PS3’s and get into some of the best exclusive titles and not just LBP. Said trailer is above.
I can’t wait for this game.

It’s late this week, I know but i’ve been organising for Monday. Between the organising I have been gaming some games. There’s not much new stuff here but an old favourite has returned and i’m loving playing it again. The full list is below.
- Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (PS3) - I couldn’t resist grabbing some trophies here and i’ve pretty much got all of ‘em. This game still looks amazing and is still one of the best games on the PS3. I can’t wait to see what happens at Leipzig and if that rumored ‘Uncharted 2′ announcement is real. Trophies are definitely an incentive for me now, but they’re not the be all and end all.
- Buzz!: Quiz TV (PS3) – I actually think that this has only been in the list once (in the week I bought it) and it’s a shame really because this game is really cool. Once again the PS3’s new trophies have become a big incentive to play this game but I can see me playing this for ages even if I do get all the trophies.
- Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PS3) – Sniping in this game is awesome! People I play with will know that in COD4 sniping is my forte and I can’t stand people sniping when they’re using assault rifles and if they can’t hit anything. Leave the sniping to the pro’s people. I say it every time this game is in the list, it is the best FPS on any console and I don’t think anything will be beating it for a while.
- PixelJunk Eden (PS3/PSN) – This was one of my most anticipated PSN games of the year and it hasn’t disappointed. I’m loving it and you can play it for hours without even noticing. That’s gotta be a great recommendation.
- UEFA Euro 2008 (PS3) – When is an EA footy game not in this list? (Answer: NEVER!). EA Sports have stepped their game up and are now absolutely battering Pro Evolution Soccer. I’m playing FIFA 09 on Monday (@ M Festival) and will definitely be giving my impressions. From what i’ve seen FIFA 09 looks like it’s using the same engine as this game which can’t be a bad thing.
- Rock Band (PS3) – Still the best rhythm game out there. The DLC hasn’t been the best over the last couple of weeks but hopefully Harmonix will step it up and add some really good stuff. Joy Division is a must for this game.
So that’s it for this week. The list is fairly similar to last weeks but there is some new additions there. August looks like it might bring some new games to the list with BCR and Ratchet coming out on PSN August looks like a good month.

Sweet, IGN published a full list of all the trophies available in Rock Band 2. Some of them sound kinda hard but the others seem actually quite easy to do. There’s currently no details on which trophies will be bronze, silver and gold or if there will be a platinum trophy (i suspect there will be). The only real details so far are hoe to get said trophies and also that, like Uncharted and Buzz!, there’ll be some hidden trophies to get too.

Looks like there’s a few hints here about some of the content in the game (making a music video sounds cool). I love the original game and can’t wait for this game to be released. It was rumored for October, god I hope that was more than rumor.
