Now I was really pissed that Valve’s ‘Left 4 Dead’ was only coming to PC and Xbox 360, then I remembered the stuff with ‘The Orange Box’ and how EA ended up developing it. I was really hoping that this would be the case with this game too and it looks like I was right.

According to the Official PlayStation Magazine the game IS coming to the PS3 and will be developed by EA. Below you’ll find what the mag had to say.

“Valve’s survival horror game Left 4 Dead is coming to PS3, but EA will be taking on development duties in-house,”

You can see said quote in the image at the top of the post.

Also mentioned is that Rockstar are working on a “cool lisence”. I wonder what it is. It seems to have been confirmed but i’m still waiting for this to be officially confirmed so it’s still rumor for now.

Next Team ICO Game In 09?

In an interview with Official PlayStation Magazine, the president of Sony Computer Entertainment, Shuhei Yoshida talked about Team ICO and what they had in store for the PS3, he might have even announced a tentative date. Have a look what he had to say.

They are working on a title. I started the ICO project. Ueda-san joined my team in Japan as a cinematic animator, but he created a short movie and presented it to me and said, ‘I want to make this game.’ I said, ‘Yes, let’s do it, but you have never made a game. We have to have experienced people do it,’ so it took a while, recruiting one person at a time. And because Fumito Ueda doesn’t compromise, we had to move the development from PSone to PlayStation 2. Then I couldn’t complete the game because I moved to the United States. It took four years and the second game took four years too. So I started calling them the ‘Olympic Team.’ They haven’t released a PS3 title yet — of course not — they’ll take four years! But they have something really, really good on the way.

Sounds great. I still haven’t played ICO or Shadow Of The Collosus, but it seems i’ve got a little bit of time before their next release. So with this four year thing it looks like we’ll see it next year. Nice.
