News out of Comic Con here and Midway’s Ed Boon has announced that popular DC characters The Joker and The Green Lantern will be making their way into their new fighter Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe. Also announced were Jax and Kitana from the Mortal Kombat franchise.

Boon announced that there would be a special edition of the game which would include a comic book illustrated by Mortal Kombat co-creator John Tobias. Sounds cool.

The guys have also said that the remaining roster of characters and the final boss will be revealed over the coming months
