The Playstation Lifestyle blog have announced that on the 3rd of August a “new” PS3 exclusive will be announced. This exclusive apparently makes MAG, Killzone 2 and inFamous look like “NOTHING”. They have also said that on July 26th they’ll offer three hints as to what the game is.
They also have three words listed with strikethroughs through them which are:
RPG
FPS
Next gen Twisted Metal
It could be real but it also could be rumor. Who knows? It’ll be exciting to see what gets announced and hopefully it’ll be something cool. I see that Rockstar isn’t on that list. Discuss.

Penny Arcade’s episodic game has been going for a few months now and apparently there were some problems getting it to work on the PS3 but now it has been announced that the first episode, ‘Penny Arcade Adventures: On The Rain-Slick Precepice Of Darkness’ (catchy), will hit the PSN in Fall the Autumn.
The guys had this to say:
“We keep getting emails asking why our Penny Arcade game is not on PSN,” said Hothead’s CEO, Vlad Ceraldi. “We have always said we wanted to have our games on as many platforms as possible to give choice to gamers. All good things take time and we are very excited to be debuting our first PS3 title and look forward to bringing more games to this platform in the future.”
The 360 and PC versions are both around $20 in the US so I think we can expect it’ll be the same. I’ve not followed the concept too much (read not at all). Does $20 buy one episode or a sorta subscription? Needless to say it looks ok but it isn’t something i’ve been clamoring for. Plus, with what Yhatzee said about webcomics it sounds sorta uninspired.
You can check out some screens of the PS3 version here.

TSA have officially accepted my challenge and now it’s up to me to claim victory. I want you XeNonX readers! I need you to vote for XeNonX in the parody off so I can win, well…nothing really but it’s my pride at stake here guys.
Anyway I would like to announce that I will be parodying Foreigner’s Juke Box Hero and that it has now been confirmed that all parodies will have to be submitted on (or before) Friday 1st August.
Let the games begin!
