I will double check the times later and will post a link to the blog at around 6:30pm giving everyone enough time to get watching.
At the moment it’s just me who’ll be writing but i’ll try and get some other people to contribute.
God i hope they’ve got something good.

Whoo more WarHawk news! Dylan Jobe has released a statement which will hopefully reassure the WarHawk community about the trophy situation, he said:
“To earn the Warhawk Platinum Trophy, all you have to do is unlock the base game’s 44 Trophies…you do *NOT* have to buy any DLC to unlock the Platinum Warhawk Trophy. Forcing players to buy our DLC would be super-craptastic and completely unacceptable.”
What he didn’t say was if the DLC packs would have their own trophies. I hope they do because that’d be more trophies for me. Sweet!

Yay a patch! Shame it dosen’t include trophies but it is pretty cool. Warhawk is getting it’s 1.40 patch tomorrow (10am GMT to be exact) which includes some pretty cool stuff you’d only usually see as DLC but this is free!
The new patch adds a number of things the most notable of these is that two new game modes will be added: ‘Hero’ and ‘Collection’. In Hero mode one person is selected to be the ‘Epic Hero’. Teams earn points by killing the enemy team’s hero or killing people with the ‘epic hero’. This mode sorta sounds like WarHawk’s take on the ‘VIP mode’ which is one of the game modes usually used in FPS’s.
The ‘Collection’ mode has been described by Dylan Jobe as “multi-flag CTF [Capture The Flag”. In this mode there are ‘enery cores’ around the map and each team has a reactor where they take the ‘core’ to score points.
Alongside these new game modes is the ‘Quick Join’ feature which looks for a server with your set preferences and then drops you in it, hopefully making it easier to join games. The game’s mini map has been updated, there’s changes to the rank & reward requirements, there’s an update on ‘Home’ game launching amongst, what PS3 Fanboy described as, “tons” of other stuff.
I will be checking that out when it hits tomorrow.

That’s pretty cool of Sony to give us PS3 owners daily content updates on the PSN. i’m thinking it’ll be trailers and stuff (with a main update on Thursday) but I could be wrong. I won’t be doing daily updates but I will do a mass update after this week, it’s just easier.
Here’s hoping for Elephunk but I don’t think it’ll hit before Thursday at the least to be honest. Either way it’s cool that Sony want to give fans a week of content during the biggest week of the games industry’s year.

Sony are really having a bad E3 so far. FFXIII is no longer exclusive and now this. It was announced at Microsoft’s press conference yesterday that Bethesda’s highly anticipated RPG ‘Fallout 3′ was to have ‘exclusive’ downloadable content for the Xbox 360 & PC.
The DLC is said to be “substantial” but I wouldn’t loose hope just yet as it’s still unconfirmed if this deal features all ‘Fallout 3′ DLC or just certain exclusive packs. I do hope that this is the case because I hate that DLC gets to be exclusive. 1st GTA IV now this, Microsoft are trying to sabotage the competition by throwing their money at everyone. Not good for the industry if you ask me. Like I said it’s unconfirmed if the 360’s DLC will be exclusive with the PS3 getting it’s own, but here’s hoping it is. The whole thing seems similar to the DLC stuff for GTA which has yet to be talked about by anyone. I just can’t see companies turning down the chance to print money.
Filed under: Gaming News | Tags: Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Final Fantasy XIII, Microsoft, PS3, Sony, Square Enix, Xbox 360?

Not the biggest Final Fantasy fan (I don’t really like JRPG’s) but this was obviously a real Sony biggie. It was announced at Microsoft’s press conference yesterday that the highly anticipated Final Fantasy XIII would be coming to the Xbox 360 & PS3.
For me, this isn’t the biggest of deals but it is for Sony and the PS3 which is why I’m a bit gutted, but I am optimistic. I personally don’t think that the FF fans will take to the 360 as a platform for this game. Yeah, Final Fantasy has been on 360 before but, I think that the game will turn out better on the PS3 and thus, will have more FF fans buying that version.
Plus, how many discs will the 360 version need? This game is being built for the PS3 and obviously a Blu-Ray disc so i’m thinking more discs here than Lost Odessey (4 discs).
At the squeenix (Square Enix) press conference, also yesterday, the “PS3 Exclusivity” was cleared up. The game will be a PS3 exclusive in Japan and such but will be multi-platform in English speaking territories as Square want to capitalize on the 360’s fanbase.
It was said, however, that Final Fantasy Versus XIII was still exclusive to the PS3. Here’s hoping for some form of crossover between the two games or some nice exclusive DLC to make people want to buy this on PS3.
I want to know how Sony will respond. You will see later today (7.30 GMT / 11.30 PDT) when Sony’s press conference begins (more on that later).

This looks like a bit of a mix of both of the leaked tracklists from earlier this month. I really quite like it, there’s some good stuff here just a shame there’s no ‘Bad To The Bone’. It’d be some great DLC though. I think the highlights here are Motorhead’s ‘The Ace Of Spades’, Billy Idol’s ‘White Wedding Pt. 1′ and The Who’s ‘Pinball Wizard’ (I wondered why it wasn’t in this months DLC pack). Obviously there’s some other really good stuff plus that rumor about the downloadable disc thing was also true with Harmonix & MTV stating that “almost” all songs from the original Rock Band tracklist could be transferred. I hope they don’t loose any of the good ones. The press release also goes on to say that to transfer the songs will require some sort of fee to unlock the content. This unlock will apparently be “under $5″, which I guess is ok would’ve been better not to pay though.
